Fish Farming Equipment
Coast Innovation’s main activity is based on fish farming and maritime activities.
Gunnar Stavøstrand, Executive Director, Coast Innovation Ltd.,
has 25 years of experience from fish farming activities in Norway, Canada and Chile.
 Stavøstrand was responsible for the development
and production of fish farming equipment in Vest Montering, in Florø, for 5 years previous to establishing Coast Innovation..
In this period the company developed and built
a feeding module (picture), a floating all automated feed barge, still some of the most cost-efficient production tools made in this branch of technology.
Coast Innovation will carry on this ability to develop, and produce aquaculture equipment.
This is possible through a strong network of competent companies and proficiency.
Coast Innovation is in particular interested
in problem solving, leading to new designs
and ideas, productions and new developments, and preferably connected to fish farming.
Coast Innovation is looking at production in;
• Boatlift, Prof version for fish farming crafts, weight maximum 1800 kg (see
Boatlift)
• Feeding modules in steel, with loading capacity of 100 to 300 tonnes
• Tanks and silos built in steel or aluminium
• Mechanical Equipment
• Floats, floating docks
• Automotive washing robots
• Automatic moorings system.
